About the Venus Fly Trap
The "Dionaea Muscipula" is a carnivorous plant also known as the Venus Fly Trap is one of the most interesting plants ever. The small traps have little hairs on them that act like triggers, once two of the hairs are "triggered" by a fly (or in the case of the video, tweezers) the jaws clamp together, locking the fly in. The plant then slowly fills the traps with insect-disintegrating juice and starts munching on it. These plants are pretty easy to care for and don't require fly's to grow, just provide them with bright sunlight and a humid environment.
