About the Bonsai mix | 5L

Perfect for any bonsai. As we know bonsai are very delicate plants that need the best quality care available to thrive. The soil should not get hard when dry and have a good amount of aeration and drainage. The addition of pumice supplies this. The lava rock helps with the structure of the roots and weighs it down, stopping your bonsai from getting top-heavy.

Our packaging is completely recyclable. The labels are made of kraft paper and can be composted. The bag's can be either re-used or disposed with your local plastic recycling service.

Good quality, heavily overpriced

As the title states, the quality of the soil is really decent. Drainage is good, mixture is as advertised. There is one flaw which is that it is heavily overpriced. I wanted to have the same soil components but in smaller amounts since I do not have that much storage. If I did have the storage to store larger bags I would have bought every component individually and mixed it myself. A quick estimate would result in similar pricing but at least 3 times as much soil.

Delivery and packaging was quick and not disappointing.
