About the Sarracenia

The Sarracenia "Unknown ID", also known as the Pitcher plant is one of the crazier carnivores plants out there. It attracts insects with sweet nectar that poisons the poor bug, the pitchers of the plant are very slippery and will make insects fall in, after which they enter the "Pool of Dead". This pool is full of enzymes that break down insects very quickly.
