This SYBASoil mix can contain live worms!
Using the mix is easy! Start with removing as much of the old soil as possible. Gently squeeze the pot while holding it sideways to loosen up the plant. Run the roots under lukewarm tap water to remove the last pieces and bits.
Also, make sure to remove any dead foliage that may still be on the plant using scissors. Now your plant is ready for its fresh Calathea & Maranta soil. Add a small layer of Calathea & Maranta mix at the bottom of the pot.
Place the plant in the pot, and slowly add Calathea & Maranta soil to the sides to fill it up. Make sure that the point where the roots meet the plant is just buried under the Calathea & Maranta soil.
Lightly pat the Calathea & Maranta mix down into the pot. Make sure to water the Calathea & Maranta mix thoroughly after repotting, as this helps settle the mix and roots down.
The Calathea & Maranta mix has both perlite and vermiculite, allowing ample drainage while still retaining some moisture in the vermiculite. This helps with keeping the soil evenly moist. The root system will grow healthier and larger, and it reduces the need of having to water the plant too often, leaving you with more time to admire your plants!
Calathea & Maranta originate from the south-American jungles, they are used to survive under the canopy of leaves from larger plants and trees. They do well in little sunlight as they are used to this environment. The jungle floor has a moist and rich substrate full of nutrients from fallen leaves and other waste. The Calathea mix mimics this environment.
Tip! As Calathea & Maranta like to stay moist, use a plastic or ceramic pot. Clay and other types of pots are porous, meaning they breathe out moisture. Plastic & ceramic contain moisture better.
Calathea & maranta can be fussy, they are similar in care to alocasia plants. Bright indirect light, constantly moist soil, and warm temperatures will ensure healthy and pretty foliage. They can become too wet, so make sure your plant has ample drainage as well.

You can store SYBASoil for about 2 years. Make sure to store it cool, dark and closed off. The effectiveness of the nutrients can degrade over the years. Simply add some fresh worm castings to give the soil new life.

- You see roots growing out of the bottom of the pot
- The soil dries very quickly between watering
- The plant is top-heavy and wants to fall over
- Roots are pushing the plant up and out of the container
- Every 1 to 2 years

Au top ! Cela va faire maintenant une dizaine de plantes que je rempote au fur et à mesure avec le terreau de chez Sybotanica. Ici ma fleur de lune était en tres mauvais état surement du à un terreau trop vieux. Sur leur conseil , je suis parti sur du terreau de calathéa. Cela fait maintenant 2 semaines et semble se porter à merveille et commence à reprendre des belles couleurs vives. Je recommande leur terreau sans hésitation.

J’ai due rempoter ma maranta qui était malade, j’ai coupé beaucoup de feuilles mais aujourd’hui grâce à ce terreau spécial elle repart à merveille et fait une nouvelle feuille 🍁 merci Sybotanica

Parfait! Je recherchais de quoi replanter un jeune calathea. Je suis tombe sur Sybotanica que je ne connaissais pas. Les informations que j'ai pu trouver sur le site et le moteur de recherche qu'il propose m'ont amené à ce produit. Le descriptif est très clair et les avis sur celui-ci ont fait que je me suis lancé dessus. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat même si au départ je trouvais celui-ci un peu onéreux vu le prix et la quantité. Quand vous l'avez dans les mains , vous comprenez pourquoi car il est d'excellente qualité. Replanter depuis un mois et demi maintenant , il se porte à merveille et ne cesse de croître régulièrement sans aucun soucis. Je vais commander du coup pour mes autres plantes. Je recommande absolument sans aucune hésitation.
Nous avons voulu rempoter notre calathéa triostar et avons utilisé votre mélange spécial. Nous avons séparé les plants et avons utilisé votre produit. Mais le résultat n'est pas top comme vous pouvez le constater sur la photo!!

Ik ben een echte plantengek en mijn huis is met 46 planten een beetje mijn jungle (gelukkig zonder die enge beesten ;-) ). Ik ben aangenaam verrast over hoe de planten reageren op de Aroidmix, de Monstera's, Philo's, Photo's, Epipremnum doen het er echt heel erg goed op. Oké, een klein geel blad kan eens voorkomen, maar dat is logisch want ze moeten nog wennen en tja met verpotten kan er een wortel beschadigen, jammer maar bijna onvermijdelijk. De lepelplanten en Strelitzia's doen het heerlijk in de Calatheamix. Ik ben blij dat ik deze Sybasoil heb aangeschaft, het was best even een uitgave, maar nu staat alles er weer mooi en gezond bij.
On voit vraiment la différence comparé à un substrat classique! C'est vraiment bien drainant et la plante a meilleure mine. Je recommande !
Mijn calathea groeide niet meer en de bladeren werden allemaal bruin. Toen heb ik speciale potgrond voor calathea’s gekocht en de plant in een grotere pot gezet. Nu heeft ze alweer tien nieuwe bladeren gekregen.
Ik wil nooit meer iets anders dan SYBASoil!

Très heureuse d'avoir enfin trouvé un terreau sans tourbe adapté à mes plantes ! Il est aéré, très qualitatif, ne forme pas de paquets, la quantité de mouches de terreau à drastiquement diminué et ma plante qui me faisait une pousse continue de la faire grandir à vue d'œil. En somme, je suis très satisfaite !
Sehr gutes Substrat! Kein Schimmel mehr. Die Pflanzen wachsen sehr gut. Meine Alocasia blüht sogar!
Calathea Wundermittel Nach 3 Monaten kann ich ganz ehrlich sagen, dass ich wirklich absolut begeistert bin. Calatheas haben ja nicht grad den besten Ruf, aber mit dem Substrat geht es meinen besser als je zuvor. Damit ist die Pflege super easy geworden und ich muss kaum was machen, damit es ihnen gut geht.
Lepelplant revival De grond ziet erg goed uit. Je ziet en voelt dat je kwaliteit in huis hebt gehaald. Mijn lepelplant is een beetje aan het sukkelen. Ik verwacht dat hij over een maand of twee een revival meemaakt.
Parfait Après 1 mois d'utilisation avec le substrat de sybotanica pour maranta, anthurium et autres plantes mes plantes s'épanouissent. Bien drainant, aéré et légers, chaques plantes évoluent très bien. Je recommande vivement les différents substrats😊 Merci pour vos envois rapides et bien emballés

Empfehlenswert! Ich habe zwei Maranthen in diese Erde getopft und sie scheinen sich wohl zu fühlen in ihrem neuen Substrat - meine Maranta leuconeura tricolor hat sich sogar dazu entschlossen, noch ein paar Blüten auszubilden! 🙂
hochwertige Erde Habe meine Calanthea vor einigen Tagen umgetopft. Bis jetzt ist noch kein Wachstum vonstatten gegangen. Ich muss abwarten.
Terreau calathea Un terreau de belle qualité, cela fait presque un mois que j'ai rempoté mon calathea et il se porte a merveille et m'a fait de nouvelles feuilles ! Tolle Erde für meine vielen Calateen und Maranten Habe jetzt erst umgetopft Habe aber das Gefühl die Pflanzen sind sehr zufrieden. Zumindest macht die Erde einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck nicht zu vergleichen mit Gartencentererde....
Bon substrat Ce substrat offre un bon compromis entre rétention de l'eau et drainage. Il est moins spongieux que le substrat de base dans lequel les marantacées sont typiquement vendues, ce qui évite la pourriture racinaire. Il sèche graduellement. Bonne reprise de la croissance 2 semaines après rempotage, il semble bien nutritif et en plus il sent bon ! L'emballage est aussi très soigné, les paquets se rangent bien et sont propres à manipuler - ce qui n'est pas négligeable quand on habite en appartement !

Great for bird of paradise I have used this mix twice now for my bird of paradise plant and it has grown so much. Within six months from first use it was bursting out of the pot again and thriving. Love the mix.

De chronopost Le livreur de chronopost a jeter le colis dans ma cour alors qu il pleuvait, quand j suis arrivé chez moi retrouve le carton en bouillie et mon chien s est amuser avec un sac qu elle a étaler dans la cours. J ai téléphoné à chronopost qui m à dit de joindre sybotanica mais aucun numéro de téléphone. Alors comment faire pour se faire rembourser du mauvais travail du livreur
