These square self watering pots are made for plant lovers who want to simplify watering without compromising on care. Designed with a clean green exterior and a warm brown interior, they include a rope wick that draws water from the base up into the substrate, giving your plant the moisture it needs, when it needs it.
Perfect for use with SYBAStones Mineral Substrates, these cube plant containers take the guesswork out of semi-hydro setups. Just fill the lower chamber, plant in your favorite mineral medium, and let the rope do the rest.
This square wick watering pot stands out for its rope-based watering system, which offers a more even, slow-release moisture flow compared to standard self-watering designs. It's especially handy if you're caring for tropicals that like to stay lightly moist, like Alocasias, Anthuriums, Aroids, or Calatheas.
There's also a small water level window near the base, giving you a quick glance at your reservoir without disturbing the setup. Whether you’re growing indoors or in a greenhouse cabinet, these indoor square reservoir pots are made to make care easier, not harder.
If you're growing with SYBAStones Mineral Substrates, clay balls, perlite, or pumice, this mineral substrate square pot is a great fit. The consistent moisture keeps your tropical plants happy, while the upper layers stay breathable and airy.
However, if you're caring for succulents, cacti, or other plants that prefer dry roots, skip this one. They’ll do better in breathable pots with SYBASoil Houseplant Soil and a hands-on watering routine. Or combine our Cacti Mineral mix with our Cacti & Succulent plant pot.
These square easy care pots are great for plant parents who want a more consistent moisture routine, especially for thick-rooted or water-sensitive species. The square format also makes them stackable and easy to arrange in rows, ideal for collecting and propagating.
With their geometric shape and modern colors, these geometric self watering planters fit beautifully into minimal plant setups. They're understated, functional, and built to support the health of your plants from root to leaf.
At Sybotanica, we create plant tools that combine care, design, and sustainability. These square water saving pots are no exception, smart enough to handle hydration on your behalf, and subtle enough to blend into any setup.
Over 75,000 plant lovers trust Sybotanica for solutions that make plant care simpler and more rewarding. Whether you're just getting started with semi-hydro or want to expand your setup, these modern self watering pots make a clean, efficient, and stylish choice.

You can use a water reservoir pot with your hydro mix to create a semi-hydroponics set up. Most plants that love wet soils will appreciate this, such as aroids, calatheas, marantha, ficus, dieffenbachia, anthuriums and alocasias.
Both our SYBAStones and other hydro mediums such as clay balls, perlite and pumice work excellently with these pots. We do not recommend using our SYBASoils with our self watering pots, since the coconut coir in our soils can act as a sponge in this set up. It holds on to too much water, risking overwatering and root rot for your plants.
Yes, transplanting, watering and fertiliser can be very different from growing plants on soil. We recommend you to research if this method of growing is suitable for your specific plant.
You can place cuttings (grown in water) directly in our hydro mix. For established plants in soil we would recommend to remove the old soil, especially if you have had issues with fungus gnats, before transplanting in hydro mix. You can additionally choose to rinse the hydro mix before use, to get rid of any dust formed during transport.
Remove the bottom part of the pot from the water reservoir. Fill up the water reservoir with fresh water and pot the pot back together.
We recommend to use our Mineral Slow release fertilisers for your plants in a selfwatering pots. These fertilisers make sure to release its nutrients to your plants slowly over time, even in the hydro mix is consistently wet due to its coating.
